Unfortunately, considering the circumstances of South Korea, the symposium was canceled due to the spread of COVID-19.
We hope to find another chance to meet you all in Seoul.

Membrane proteins are the gate keepers of cells, regulating the flows of information into and out of cells. In spite of its biological and practical importance, the progresses in biophysical/biochemical study of membrane proteins have been relatively slow because of the technical challenges in handling and monitoring membrane proteins. We have invited prominent scientists who have been studying various questions of the membrane protein biophysics, ranging from its biosynthesis to final degradation. We hope this symposium will be a golden opportunity to promote this important field of science in South Korea and the East Asian region.
